Lee B. Guerry

Ms. Guerry joined Page-Wheatcroft & Co., Ltd.s Washington DC
office in 1999. She is a Director in the firms global Legal Practice. She conducts
senior-level legal searches for the firms clients on an international basis.
Prior to joining Page-Wheatcroft, Ms. Guerry worked primarily as a
lawyer and a trust officer. She was an associate at Boothe, Prichard & Dudley, now
known as McGuire, Woods, Battle & Boothe, a law firm in Fairfax, Virginia, 1984-85.
She worked as a trust officer for nine years (1985-94) in Washington, D.C., specializing
in Personal Trust New Business (i.e. trust sales) for NationsBank Trust, formerly known as
American Security Bank and Security Trust Company, where she was a Vice President and
Trust Officer.
In 1994, Ms. Guerry returned to her alma mater to serve as Associate
Dean of Students at The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. In 1995, she joined
the Nature Conservancy at its International Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia as the
Planned Giving Officer responsible for the Midwestern Region of the United States.
Most recently, Ms. Guerry was a Vice President and Senior Relationship
Manager with Crestar Bank in its Private Banking Division in Alexandria, Virginia 1997-99.
Ms. Guerry is a Certified Financial Planner, a designation she earned
by passing six exams over a two-year period. She was the Chairman of the Arrangements
Committee of the D.C. Estate Planning Council 1993-94.
Ms. Guerry received her B.A. from The University of the South in
Sewanee, Tennessee where she graduated Cum Laude and with Honors in Political Science in
1980. She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia in 1983. She also studied at
Cambridge University in England the Fall of 1983 (English Literature) and at Oxford
University in England the Summer of 1979 (English Literature and Art & Architecture).
She is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society and was a Wilkins Scholar
at Sewanee. She grew up in Norfolk, Virginia where she graduated from Norfolk Academy. |
