United Kingdom-based Senior Level Executive Search firm. Established in 1981, we assist
our clients by identifying "leaders" to manage geographies and/or practices,
primarily for Professional Services Firms. We are driven to turn our clients
growth/management objectives into reality. We enable high-level business transformation by
functioning as "Senior Counselors" to client management and assembling
high-performance executive teams to formulate and implement our clients missions,
objectives, strategies and tactics. Our focus is to identify senior partners to lead and
manage industry/practice specific groups for Management Consulting and Law Firms, and

Our Approach
Since 1981, we have generated a strong record of repeat business within
client firms wherein we have enjoyed multi-year relationships. Our "client loyalty" stems
from three distinctive elements to our service approach.
First, we are well qualified to render quality executive search/consulting
assistance to our clients. Our Principals' diverse industry experiences enable us to evaluate
senior-level candidates with a penetrating assessment of past performance and stated accomplishments.
We have historically led major organization Business Process Re-engineering efforts and have
first-hand experience with substantial Business Transformation implementation. Our Principals
strive to bring this value-added perspective to each and every recruiting assignment.
Second, Page-Wheatcroft & Co., Ltd. uses a stylized personal approach
to deliver executive search consulting services. By way of example, most recruiting firms
delegate the painstaking research process to junior-level research personnel. At Page-Wheatcroft
& Co., Ltd., the firms' Principals complete the sourcing and candidate development research
themselves. In this way, we believe we dramatically improve the quality and effectiveness of
the candidate-sourcing process. Ultimately, we are able to bring candidates to the table who
might otherwise have said "no."
We have been told repeatedly throughout our eighteen-year history that the
principle reason a specific candidate elected to go forward with an interview process on behalf
of a client was the quality of the initial screening call that caused them to be effectively
promoted to a specific client opportunity.
We have found that intense, personal involvement in every element of the
search process has led to better candidate identification and increased client satisfaction.
Ours is the ultimate service business. A direct outgrowth of this high level of client
satisfaction is a significant record of repeat business with clients who feel they have
been well served.
Last, clients find our fee approach refreshingly different. Most
national firms charge one-third of a selected executives first years annual
compensation to complete a search assignment. The fee is charged in three equal payments:
the initial payment at the start of the assignment, the second and third payments, one and
two months into the engagement. At the end of ninety days, the client has no leverage to
insist that a selected firm complete the assignment.
At Page-Wheatcroft & Co., Ltd. we charge the same fee, but with a
different, performance-based structure. Page-Wheatcroft & Co., Ltd. and the client
estimate first year compensation for the selected candidate. PW's initial billings
are based upon one-third of that amount. PW bills one-third of the estimated fee at
the start of the engagement. The second third is billed when PW presents two candidates
accepted by the client for interview. The final third is billed upon completion of the
search engagement (i.e., a candidate is selected, a job offer made and accepted). The
final one-third billing is based upon the prior year paid or first year compensation
offered, whichever is greater. For an average search engagement, this billing approach
puts approximately 60% of our fees at performance based risk.
